The Popes’ Palace Convention Centre, a unique venue in a historical monument, in the heart of Avignon
The Popes’ Palace Convention Centre is the outstanding setting for all your events (meetings, meals, incentives) . It is located into two private wings of the Palace of the Popes, right into the historical centre of Avignon. This unique place offers character meeting rooms : 16 rooms in the very heart of the biggest Gothic palace in Europe: 20 to 550 persons in meeting style, 700 persons in reception style and 1800m² of exhibition space, withing walking distance from the hotels.
The Popes’ Palace Convention Centre is ISO-certified 9001 since 2002 and, the first Convention Center in France certified “Qualité Tourisme” since 2011.
The Avignon “exhibition centre ” is only 3 mn away from the highway exit, 15 mn from the city center and the TGV station.
Newly designed spaces to meet the requirements of major events : a fully modulable convention hall which holds 920 persons, 7 ground-level halls from 750 m2 to 6000 m2, (in all 15,000 m2) with food service spaces, display space and committee rooms nearby. 50,000 m² of outdoor area, 6,000 free parking spaces.
